Temp Mail/Payment Processing Clerk (Maui)
Bishop & Company is seeking a Temp Mail Clerk/Payment Processing Clerk, full-time, 40 hours/week (or will consider a part-time candidate) to handle Company mail and assist with payment processing work. This includes handling incoming, outgoing and inter-Company mail, opening and sorting mail and checks, filing, answering general phone calls.
Payment processing, cashiering duties include preparing and balancing daily deposits, receiving payments from customers by mail/drop box, checking records for payments made on customer accounts, sorting, distributing bills, work orders, preparing reports and maintaining logs and files, typing letters, creating Excel reports, etc.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency in using a PC and Microsoft software programs. At a minimum, this includes the following:
- Able to complete basic tasks including but not limited to being able to navigate the desktop, folders, files, cut and paste, etc.
- Excel: Able to format text, utilize formulas, etc.
- Word: Able to format text, use mail merge, etc.
- Experience with payment processing, billing highly desirable.
- Analytical, computational, organizational and time-management skills to handle various assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn new software systems to assist with payment processing functionality and product testing.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively as a member of a team and build strong working relationships with a variety of individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, remain flexible and positive in a demanding work environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and strategic direction
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Be able to lift, carry, stack, handle mail and packages, cartons of paper and other stationery materials weighing up to 65 pounds.
- At least 3-5 years of general office and clerical experience.
- Demonstrated 10-key proficiency.
- SAP or equivalent enterprise/customer information system experience desired, but not required.

Location: Kahului, HI 96732
Parking: Provided
Dress Code: Business casual attire
Duration: 1-year initial assignment, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements, performance, budget, etc.
Shift: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (full-time)
Pay rate: $21.00 per hour.
