Teller – Kahului, Maui (Temp?to?Hire)
Bishop & Company is seeking a Teller for a well?established financial institution located in Kahului, Maui. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, accurately and efficiently process financial transactions, and develop a strong understanding of the institution’s products and services.
You will work with a diverse customer base, assisting individuals opening their first accounts as well as experienced clients managing ongoing financial needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast?paced branch environment
- Accurately process cash and non?cash transactions
- Educate customers on available products and services
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Support branch operations and team initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Alignment with core values of Caring, Character, and Collaboration
- 1+ year of customer service experience; cash?handling experience preferred
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to engage customers in a positive, professional manner
- Sales or advisory skills to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products
Experience (Preferred)
- Cash handling: 1 year
- Customer service: 1 year
Additional Information
- Job Type: Temporary?to?Hire
- Pay: $20-$23/hour plus sales incentives
- Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday: Rotational basis, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- (Hours may vary)
- Location: Kahului, Maui, Hawai‘i
