Talent Acquisition (HR) Generalist
Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition (HR) Generalist supports employee preboarding, onboarding, and recruitment functions, ensuring compliance with employment-related laws and policies. This role facilitates post-offer activities, maintains documentation, and assists with staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preboarding and onboarding processes.
- Facilitate post-offer screenings, including physicals, drug tests, and background checks.
- Communicate hiring steps to managers and draft new hire announcements.
- Ensure compliance with employment documentation requirements.
- Manage internal and external job postings and candidate outreach.
- Prepare offer letters and process temporary staffing orders.
- Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR files.
- Support management-level recruitment and sourcing efforts.
- Schedule interviews and provide status reports.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of HR experience OR a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or collaboratively.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.
- Two (2) years of HR experience, including one (1) year in recruitment.
- Experience with HRIS (PeopleSoft) and ATS.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
Location: Aiea, HI 96701
Status: Temporary Full-Time, On-Site (ASAP Start, Potential Temp-to-Hire)
Assignment Length: 6 Months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.35 - $25.86 per hour (DOE)
