Job Description
Bishop & Co is searching for a System Administrator for an excellent client. This position requires knowledge of security audits and reporting. This is for a government contractor and is 100% on-site.
Duties
- Plans interfaces to external systems.
- Creates test plans and procedures.
- Determines development, testing, staging, and operating environments.
- Sustains and confers for relevant operating systems on organizational computer systems, all third-party software components, and subsystems.
- Preserves and revises documentation on the operating systems configuration.
- Administers software life cycles.
- Plans, tests, installs, and integrates new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems on organizational computer systems, all third-party software components, and subsystems.
- Delivers technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment.
- Investigates and solves systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
- Examines and assimilates software and hardware.
- Resolves problems that may involve applications and the network.
- Security+ Certification
- Windows: 4 years
Other Skills: Ability to work with others in a team environment, position is subject to a national security background investigation
Salary range $90-$120k
