Support Operations I or II #22165
Bishop & Company is seeking dependable and detail-oriented professionals for Support Operations I or II openings with a leading insurance organization in Honolulu. These positions provide essential administrative and processing support to the Commercial Underwriting Support department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established company guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Support Operations I
  • Process submissions, renewals, and policy changes for non-complex lines of business using Guidewire (GWPC).
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and endorsement guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Provide general administrative and operational assistance as needed.
Support Operations II (in addition to the above)
  • Process submissions, renewals, and policy changes across all lines of business in GWPC.
  • Assist in mentoring and training team members to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills (40–45 WPM).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Support Operations I:
  • 1–2 years of general office experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience.
Support Operations II:
  • 3–4 years of general office experience, including at least 1 year of data entry experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of P&C insurance experience.
Additional Information:
  • Type: Temporary-to-hire
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm with 30 min lunch, may vary
  • Location: Honolulu, HI 96814
  • Parking: not provided, public parking available at Blaisdell $8/day
  • Pay: $20-$21/hr
