- Lead, coach, and develop a statewide team of Account Managers across all islands.
- Set clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent as the team grows.
- Foster a proactive, results-oriented sales culture that reflects the Company’s local values.
- Own and grow key retail account relationships statewide, including grocery chains, convenience, club, and commissary channels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and distribution expansion for existing and new product lines.
- Oversee in-store merchandising standards and improve product placement across all accounts and territories.
- Conduct regular store visits and field audits to ensure optimal shelf presence and product rotation.
- Partner closely with operations and supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction while protecting margin and minimizing waste.
- Navigate customer portals for accurate pricing, promotional planning, and account documentation.
- Set and track quarterly and annual revenue targets by territory and account tier.
- Prepare regular performance updates for GM and leadership team.
- 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a team management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of hitting revenue targets and growing accounts across multiple retail channels.
- Experience developing and executing promotional plans across diverse account types.
- Strong ability to coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable.
- Solid understanding of retail execution, merchandising standards, and shrink/margin management.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and basic reporting tools.
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license and ability to travel inter-island as needed.
- Established buyer relationships with retailers in Hawaii.
- Deep knowledge of the Hawaii market, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.
- Experience implementing or using CRM tools for sales tracking and pipeline management.
