Relief Banking Consultant – Maui (Temp?to?Hire)
Bishop & Company is seeking a collaborative, customer?focused, and goal-oriented Relief Banking Consultant to support a financial institution’s Maui branch network. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility, variety, and delivering an exceptional in?branch customer experience across multiple locations.
This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various Hawaii branch locations based on changing business needs. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate (currently $0.725 per mile). An additional Relief Premium is offered in recognition of the flexibility and commitment required.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional in?branch customer service experience
- Proactively engage customers to identify financial needs
- Demonstrate and support the use of digital banking tools
- Accurately fulfill customers’ day?to?day transactional needs
- Advise customers on a full range of banking and financial products and services
- Support sales initiatives and referrals across multiple branch locations
- Handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
- One of the following is required:
- Associate’s degree in a business?related field or equivalent work experience, or
- High school diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in a sales and service environment
- 2+ years of cash?handling experience required
- 2+ years of customer service, referrals, and sales experience required
- Valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License required
- Retail or branch banking experience in operations and sales preferred
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial products and ability to understand finance and credit concepts preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Digitally savvy and confident using digital banking technology
- Detail?oriented with strong follow?through
- Agile, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast?paced, changing environment
- Positive attitude, growth mindset, and quick learner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing and able to travel to various Hawai‘i branch locations
Compensation
- Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) plus sales incentives
- Relief Premium: Additional $3.00 per hour
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday: Rotational basis, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- (Hours may vary)
