The Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. This role oversees project requirements, drives business process documentation and improvement initiatives, and ensures effective communication across stakeholders and leadership

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $78K-$100K with excellent benefits. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and schedules.
- Develop work plans, assign resources, and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the creation of detailed business requirements to support design, development, and testing.
- Oversee technical design and test case development based on requirements.
- Maintain project issue logs, manage risks, and implement mitigation plans.
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and escalate material changes in scope, timeline, or cost.
- Execute project communication plans and keep stakeholders and leadership informed.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.
- Manage a portfolio of projects and coordinate with IS leadership to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
- Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.
- Communicate findings and ensure alignment with business needs
- Lead documentation of business processes and train teams on standard methodologies.
- Support departments in analyzing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing business cases.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership, motivation, and team influencing skills.
- Ability to navigate political environments and work effectively with senior leadership.
- Knowledge of software development and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel)
- Experience with Agile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage expectations.
- Skilled in eliciting and documenting detailed business requirements.
- Ability to guide technical design and test case development.
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem solving abilities.
- Familiarity with business process documentation methods (flowcharts, swim lanes, use cases).
- Understanding of emerging technologies and their business applications.
- Ability to develop and manage project resource plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of business analyst or related experience.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, or related field.
- Experience in the health insurance industry, ideally in roles involving IT or audit.
- Formal project management training or certification
