Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Design Leadership
- Lead or oversee civil engineering design for site development, drainage, infrastructure, and related systems
- Conduct engineering studies, technical analyses, and prepare detailed reports
- Supervise construction, inspection, and maintenance activities for civil projects
- Prepare fee proposals, budgets, and contracts for new projects
- Monitor financial performance and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
- Contribute to marketing strategy and business development initiatives
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and seek opportunities for expansion
- Supervise engineering and technical teams, providing direction, mentorship, and quality control
- Conduct employee evaluations and promote a collaborative, morale-driven work environment
- Review inspection reports, plans, and drawings; ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Analyze survey data, existing infrastructure, and site conditions for accuracy
Technical Skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with interpreting technical documentation and abstract variables
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- 5–10 years of progressive experience as a licensed civil engineer managing technical projects
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Hawaii
- Valid driver's license required
