Bishop & Company is seeking a Processing Specialist for a Wealth Management Service department for a financial organization in Honolulu.
Summary:
This is a clerical role that would be responsible for filing, mail sorting, check processing, etc.
Duties:
- Support team and perform QA on new accounts.
- Ensure that the required documents are complete and accurate.
- Audit SWP data fields and address issues with the middle office.
- Finalize account closures and monitor Pre-Close accounts.
- Process residual income, ensure accounts have zero market value, and generate final statements.
- Handle account maintenance requests and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Assist with audits and resolve documentation issues.
- Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Apply accounting knowledge and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-year associate’s degree in business or liberal arts, or equivalent work experience required.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1 year of work experience in an office environment.
- Trust account processing or banking experience ideal but not required.
