This role will work closely with HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll functions are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

Position Overview
Bishop & Company is seeking a Payroll Administrator I to support accurate and timely payroll processing for a well-established organization. This role will work closely with HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll functions are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist employees and managers with payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger worksheets, payroll journals, and tax reporting
- Support benefit-related payroll tax payments and compliance requirements
- Prepare and distribute required tax documents, including W-2s
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing
- Administer payroll and timekeeping functions within the company’s HRIS system
- Provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements related to payroll and HR functions
- Assist with internal and external audit requests and data reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent payroll processing experience
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
