Temporary On Call Administrative Receptionist

Bishop & Company is seeking a full time, on-site, call-in, Administrative Receptionist to serve as the primary point of contact to welcome and assist visitors and employees, with professionalism and aloha. Handling a multi-line phone system, incoming and outgoing mail and providing administrative support. from 8:00am through 4:30pm for a healthcare organization in Aiea.

Position Details:
  • Greets visitors and employees, determines nature of visit and directs them to appropriate destination.
  • Answers and directs calls and inquiries professionally
  • Maintains phone directory and management lists.
  • Operates telephone switchboard.
  • Maintains visitor and employee parking log.
  • Provides general information to callers and visitors, as directed.
  • Handles incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintains the postage meter by ordering and refilling postage.
  • Determines appropriate postage, date and services to outgoing mail.
  • Evaluates, sorts and routes incoming mail.
  • Provides support, such as copying, filing, maintaining equipment and ordering supplies.
  • Coordinates and maintains employee locker assignments.
  • Helps departments with mailings.
  • Schedules appointments and maintains and updates appointment calendars.
  • Prepares, proofreads, and distributes documents, and maintains organized and accurate files and manuals.
  • Maintains equipment and calls for servicing as appropriate.
  • Maintains interoffice envelope supply for the company.

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and with a team.
• Working knowledge of general office equipment, such as photocopiers, facsimile machines, etc.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • One (1) year customer service experience, required.
  • One (1) year administrative office or receptionist experience, required.
  • Administrative Assistant experience, preferred.


Additional Information:
•    Job Type: Temporary, Call-in, On-Site.
•    Pay: $17.75/hr 
•    Location: Halawa, Aiea
•    Hours:  Must be available as needed to cover business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No confirmed coverage dates determined at this time.
