Bishop & Company is seeking a qualified Office Manager in Honolulu, HI.

The ideal Office Manager candidate will be organized, accurate,  adaptable,  and a quick learner.  

Requirements of the Office Manager:  
  • Associate degree required,  bachelor’ s degree  preferred.
  • At least two years of administrative experience. 
  • Computer proficiency including Gmail,  Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to type at least 65 words per minute. 
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience taking meeting minutes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks  and deadlines and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities  of the Office Manager:  
  • Providing  administrative support to the organization’ s President and Board of Trustees.
  • Drafting  correspondence for review including meeting agendas, workshop materials, and  correspondence.
  • Preparing documents and other materials for meetings. 
  • Coordinating meeting logistics  and taking minutes.
  • Managing calendar and arranging conference calls.
  • Generating spreadsheets, charts, and graphs as requested.  
  • Creating and distributing surveys; documenting responses.
  • Initiating  and following up on calls and emails as directed.
  • Facilitating communication between the Board Members and President.  
  • Supervising  receptionist and administrative staff.
  • Supporting  fund development by maintaining donor database.
  • Working  with multiple departments  to manage central and electronic filing systems.
  • Providing  training for  office staff.
  • Purchasing office equipment and  materials,  maintaining inventory,  approving office supply purchases and repairs.
  • Coordinating file storage and purging. 
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination.
  • Revising organization documents, prepare informational letters and postcards. 
  • Assisting with preparing marketing materials.  
  • Compiling documents and files for grant reports. 
  • Tracking grant submittal and reporting deadlines.
  • Create Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and flyers/brochures.

Additional Information for the Office Manager: 
  • Temporary  
  • Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm with potential overtime  
  • Location: Honolulu, HI 
  • Pay: $20.00/hr
