Bishop & Company is seeking an Office Assistant for a small family run financial services firm in the Honolulu area. In this position you will support the Financial Advisors and staff.
Assist the Financial Advisors and Office Manager with the following responsibilities:
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Tasks: Handle mail processing, birthday correspondence, appointment reminder letters, letter logs, and general correspondence.
- Office Maintenance: Manage office supply orders, maintain an organized and efficient office environment, and assist with daily office setup and preparation.
- Data Entry and Maintenance: Update and maintain accurate client account information across files and databases.
- Client Service Support: Assist with answering phones, responding to client requests, and routing inquiries to appropriate team members as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Quick learner with initiative and a proactive approach.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to anticipate needs and follow through on assigned projects.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or support role.
- Prior experience in the financial services industry.
- College education or higher.
