Bishop & Company is recruiting for a rewarding opportunity for a Clinician responsible for providing counseling and therapeutic services to youth on Maui. About the Role

 

As a licensed Clinician, you will offer comprehensive clinical counseling, conduct group therapy, and engage in community-building initiatives for youth and their families. You will work alongside our client's team of professionals to create and execute treatment plans, evaluate the circumstances of individuals and families, and extend outreach services to our community partners.

 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related social services degree
  • At least two years of post-Master's experience in casework/permanency planning and minimum one year of community or macro level experience
  • Current Hawai'i State Professional Clinical License
  • Valid driver license, clean traffic abstract, and access to a privately owned automobile with valid no-fault insurance
  • TB clearance and First Aid and CPR/AED Certification preferred

The ideal candidate will:

  • Has experience working with youth who have had experiences with the Child Welfare system, Juvenile Justice system, and houselessness or who are housing insecure
  • Possesses a knowledge of local community resources and services as well as a an understanding of Hawaiian culture and values

Direct Hire
Salary:
$74,000 - $81,000 annually Location: Maui, Hawai'i
