Marketing and Communications Manager
Responsibilities and Requirements:
The role is responsible for managing all aspects of marketing, communications, and branding. Serve as marketing liaison and working closely with the Communications team, departments, and vendors to ensure consistency and optimize marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, TV, events, etc.
Key tasks will include leading and coordinating communications and marketing. Performance reporting and budget, establishing key performance indicators, goals, and objectives, to include compiling., creating and reviewing reports of marketing activities that monitor overall performance. Plan, coordinate, and attend trade shows, events, and sponsorships. Advertising and Social Media management: recommend marketing media strategies and methods for distribution of information, working with stakeholders to create ads for paid media distribution and online visibility through multiple channels. Manage the development and execution of the company's branding strategy and initiatives.
The job requires 3 years of experience in branding, marketing, or a related area within the insurance sector, the understanding of branding and marketing channels/tools, adaptability to developing marketing content, strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, public-speaking and presentation skills, with a preference for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field such as communications. Valid driver's license, personal vehicle and no-fault insurance is required.
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire opportunity
- Pay: $60K-80K annually
- Location: Honolulu, HI 96813
- Parking: Compensated for 70% of monthly cost. Responsible for the remaining 30%, which is currently $80.00 per month and may be paid semi-monthly.
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm; Friday, 8am-4pm (1 hour lunch break). In-office every workday during training (up to 6 months). Once training is completed, a hybrid schedule is optional and subject to approval.
- Must have: valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and no-fault auto insurance.
