LEGAL SECRETARY
Bishop & Co. is seeking talent to join one of their clients, a small-sized downtown law firm as a Litigation Legal Secretary, to support administration in daily operations. Seeking a dependable, self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail, professionalism, and litigation experience are essential. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and filing documents on CM/ECF and JEFS is required.
Responsibilities:
Location: Downtown Honolulu
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
Benefits: Medical (HMSA), dental (HDS), vision, life insurance, paid time off, Section 125 cafeteria plan, 401k plan
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In office

- Calendar events and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in preparing and filing litigation or legal documents.
- Review documents for grammatical errors and required information.
- Communicate with clients and handle incoming phone calls.
- Collect and maintain documents, while ensuring client files are organized.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Dependable with a self-starter attitude.
- Strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Litigation experience in a legal setting.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience filing documents on CM/ECF and JEFS.
