International Banking Account Representative #22153
Bishop & Company is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused International Banking Account Representative for a reputable financial institution in Honolulu. This role plays a key part in supporting both consumer and business banking services, ensuring a seamless experience for clients while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and maintain consumer and business deposit and loan accounts, including CDs, secured/unsecured loans, and personal lines of credit.
- Prepare wire transaction forms, issue cashier’s checks, and assist with loan applications and renewals.
- Provide professional customer service through phone and email, resolving inquiries efficiently in line with call center standards.
- Support Japanese-speaking customers and assist with correspondence when needed.
- Assist with Client Property Payment Service (CPPS) functions, including bill payment management and service contract coordination.
- Handle administrative and operational duties for the department and support Mass Market and International Banking teams.
- Identify and grow safe, profitable opportunities within the existing portfolio and new clients.
- Ensure all activities comply with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate as a team player, providing backup support to team members and assisting in the achievement of shared goals.
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year of banking or related operational experience.
- Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking in a business context) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional, fast-paced environment.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire
- Pay: $19.35-$21.94/hr
- Location: Honolulu, HI 96813

- Schedule: Full time (40 hours/week), Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
