IT Project Manager

JOB Summary

The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing corporate projects and designated department projects according to the identified specifications, deadlines, and budgets. The IT project manager drives the operationalization and execution of all assigned projects and follows the established project management methodology to define project charter and objectives, create schedules, and oversight throughout the entire project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
·  Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
·  Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
·  Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
·  Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
·  Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
·  Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
·  Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
·  Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis.
·  Recruit and train employees to fulfill posted positions within the technical department
·  Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation
·  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Education and skills requirements:

·  At least three years of related experience required.
·  Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
·  Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in the technology department
·  Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
·  Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
·  Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
·  Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Active Secret Clearance required
