Bishop & Co. is seeking qualified Human Resources Administration leaders for its client based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The HR Generalist/Coordinator will be involved in recruiting, benefit administration, employee engagement and relations. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional who has a firm understanding of Human Resources practices, a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.



  • Identify and implement effective recruiting strategies
  • Identify, interview and recommend candidates for open positions
  • Perform appropriate background checks and references
  • Conduct new hire orientation and enhance the onboarding process to increase employee engagement
  • Benefit administration
  • Advise and assist employees with Human Resources related questions
  • Resolve employee issues, maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in activities that promote company culture and core values
  • Perform a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services


  • Bachelor’ s Degree
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting techniques and methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources compliance and employment law
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit offerings and administration
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and networking skills
  • Commitment to establishing and maintaining positive working relationships
  • Ability to work independently on a broad variety of assignments
  • Must reside on Oahu and be eligible to work in the United States
