Job Description
Bishop & Company is seeking an HR/Payroll Assistant for an association management company in Honolulu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll data accurately and on schedule, including timekeeping and payroll system management for all employees.
- Administer employee benefits, leaves of absence, and related HR functions in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll and HR records.
- Assist with employee onboarding, including orientation sessions and benefits presentations.
- Address employee and client inquiries regarding payroll and benefits in a prompt and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll leadership to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all processes.
- Support additional HR projects and administrative tasks as needed.
- Two years of college coursework in Payroll, Business, Human Resources, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Previous payroll or HR experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with payroll systems, HR software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Reliable, professional, and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Job Type: Temporary-to-hire opportunity
- Pay: $18-25/hr DOE
- Location: Honolulu, 96813
- Parking: No parking available, but we provide up to $70 toward a monthly bus pass.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
