General Description: Provides technical support to customers by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding customers through corrective steps. Assists customer with shipyard IT user accounts, NMCI user accounts, accessing various sites such as shipyard training sites, assist customer with printer problems, accessing share drives, etc.
Daily Tasks: Address problems, install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide maintenance and training in response to customer requirements or inquiries; address emailed user issues; for calls, walk-ins: resolve calls and/or escalated to perspective groups; assist users with logins; assist teleworking users with connecting to the network; assist users with checking out; schedule in-person appointments for media transfers, CD burning, assist users with replacing equipment; assist users with unlocking their accounts; refer users to contact NMCI’s Help Desk when needed; troubleshoot user access to various accounts; and assist with access to user sites.

Certifications: Security +
Clearance: Candidate must be eligible for Secret clearance.
