Job Description
Bishop & Company is seeking an HR Generalist for a financial organization in Honolulu. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of HR employee benefits and or HR administration experience.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Acts as the primary contact to process and maintain all welfare plans including medical, dental, group life, LTDI, flexible spending and transportation.
- Processing includes enrollments, changes, distributions, preparing new hire and termination packets, billings, payment requests, etc.
- Perform various HR assignments, which include process improvement, data research, analysis, process and administrations.
- Effectively responds to inquiries by managers, employees, applicants, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws governing employment.
- Files various reports for compliance with various regulations.
- Assist with employee relations issues, resolving issues and escalating when appropriate.
- Supports the Compensation and other areas of Human Resources as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- 2+ years in an HR employee benefits and/or HR administration or HRIS related experience required.
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Temporary opportunity, 6 months with possible extension
- Pay: $24.00- $25.81/hr DOE
- Hours: 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
- Location: Honolulu, 96813
