Bishop and Co. is seeking qualified candidates for a temporary Facilities Relations and Contract Coordinator opportunity for an established healthcare company in Honolulu.

Facilities Relations and Contract Coordinator #16705

Primary Duties:

Responsible for coordinating activities and managing the application process of new facility providers, as well as facility issues, maintenance of contract repository system (eVIPs), communicating directly with providers, monitoring of contract performance and improvement.
  • Managing the day to day operations. 
  • Managing annual renewal of contracting efforts.
  • Provide administrative support to Contracting and Facility Relations staff including project coordination support.
  • Administering and maintaining contract central depository (eVIPs), file shares, and databases including but not limited to creating appropriate data entries, uploading contracts, making revisions and updates to records, and cleaning up records while serving as the team lead in ensuring the integrity of records and retaining ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of facility documents.
  • Proactively monitor contract performance period to ensure facilities and negotiated providers comply with contractual terms. This includes monitoring the performance period of negotiated contract arrangements, planning an appropriate approach for coordinating data analysis to assess results, influencing business areas to engage their staff in the activity, and measuring results.

 

Job Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint) and Adobe
  • Professional demeanor with effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Read, analyze and interpret documents such as business policies and procedures, government communications, operating and maintenance instructions and safety rules.
  • Compute rate, ratio and percent. Draw and interpret various charts and graphs.
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated; works independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in healthcare industry and/or customer service.
  • Four years of combined experience in healthcare plan operations, medical policy development and billing practices.
  • Two years of management experience or increasing responsibility and experience managing processes and functions.

  • Location:  Honolulu, HI
  • Job Type: Temporary 3/8/19, with possible extension
  • Schedule  8: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM (Monday-Friday) + overtime as needed
  • Parking:     No parking
