Escrow Service Specialist (Temporary)
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
Assignment Duration: Immediate start through year-end
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Escrow Service Specialist to support a busy Mortgage Loan Servicing team. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative, customer service, and communication skills who enjoy working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with third-party vendors responsible for timely payments of hazard, hurricane, and flood insurance policies.
- Ensure information is accurately updated and maintained within banking systems.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and insurance agents via phone and email.
- Research and resolve escrow-related inquiries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Mortgage Loan Servicing team.
- Previous experience in banking, mortgage servicing, escrow, insurance, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn new software systems and navigate a networked computer environment.
- Professional and reliable work ethic.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
