EMS Outreach Specialist
Job Description
Bishop & Company is recruiting for a temporary Outreach Specialist to conduct critical outreach to EMS personnel and their families to inform emergency preparedness and response strategies.
This is a 100% on-site position and a 4 month temporary opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone and email outreach to EMS personnel and their families to gather critical information on military ties, activation status, and other factors that impact EMS workforce availability during emergencies or mass casualty events
- Ask questions in a respectful and compliant manner to assess activation or deployment risks
- Record initial responses and identify any missing or unclear information
- Follow up with contacts as needed for clarification
- Collaborate with the data entry team to ensure accurate and complete transmission of collected information
- Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA and USERRA compliance
- Report any concerns or inconsistencies to supervisory staff
Requirements:
- 1 year of work experience demonstrating ability to read and understand complex written materials, comprehend and apply written instructions, and write simply and clearly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with data collection and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Familiarity with HIPAA and USERRA compliance

- Job Type: Temporary, approximately 4 months
- Pay: $28.00/hr
- Location: Honolulu
