Job Description
Bishop & Company is seeking a Dispute Specialist for a Financial Institute in the Honolulu area.
Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a collaborative, customer-focused Dispute Specialist to join our BankCard Center Team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service in speaking with the customer to intake and submit their Mastercard dispute claims, ensuring appropriate action is taken within regulatory timeframes. This will be a Call Center type setting intaking calls from customers, branches and call center.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Banking experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Solid writing skills necessary to correspond with customers
- Strong verbal communication skills necessary to handle calls from customers
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through
- Familiarity with reviewing account transaction detail, statement and dispute process preferred
- Good time management
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with 10 key calculator and typewriter
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office
Additional Information:
- Type: Temporary Opportunity, 6/12/2023 – 12/31/23 (with possibility of extension)
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:00AM - 7:00PM (Hours may vary)
Saturday 9:00AM – 1:00PM - rotation
- Pay: $20/hr
- Location: Honolulu, HI 96819
