Job Description

Bishop & Company is seeking a mission-driven Cybersecurity Analyst to support DISA’s global IT enterprise by ensuring the integrity, security, and resilience of critical cyber systems and networks.  This position is located on Ford Island in Honolulu and no relocation is available.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Monitor networks and systems for unauthorized access, data exfiltration, modifications, or disclosure
  • Analyze logs, network traffic, firewall events, IDS/IPS alerts, and antivirus output in support of cyber investigations
  • Conduct cyber threat intelligence analysis and event correlation
  • Support incident response, resource coordination, and customer reporting with actionable findings and trends
  • Research evolving cyber threats and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Refine cybersecurity architecture and detection tools to mitigate threats and system vulnerabilities
  • Identify and implement automation solutions for analytical tasks
Shift Requirements
  • Must be able to rotate through the following shifts on a 4x10 schedule (Sun–Wed / Wed–Sat):
  • Days: 5am–3pm HT
  • Swings: 11am–9pm HT
  • Mids: 8pm–6am HT
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant cybersecurity experience
  • Active Secret clearance in DISS (TS/SCI access highly preferred)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance: One of the following certifications:
  • CASP+ CE, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCSP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CND, CySA+, GCED, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP
  • DoD 8570 CSSP Analyst compliance (must obtain within 6 months):
  • CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CEH, CFR, Cloud+, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, PenTest+, or SCYBER
    Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, system administration, and defense-in-depth concepts
  • Proficiency with tools such as AV, HIPS/HBSS, IDS/IPS, Full Packet Capture, and forensic platforms
  • Familiarity with malware analysis techniques and reporting complex technical findings
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, scripting, and programming
Clearance Requirement
  • Minimum: Secret Clearance
  • Desired: Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $90K-$105k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
