Bishop & Co. is seeking a Mid-Level Information Systems Security Officer/Cyber Defensive Operator II to provide support as an ISSO.
Tasks include:
• Provides assessment and authorization (A&A) support.
• Develops and completes system security plans and contingency plans.
• Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements.
• Evaluates, develops, and enhances security requirements, policy, and tools.
• Ensures artifacts are properly maintained in eMASS and tracked to ensure timely management and implementation of updates.
• Analyzes policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.

• Analyzes policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.
• In a backup role:
- Provide general and preferred user account management support, including reviewing/verifying/approving/rejecting account requests, facilitate Department of Defense Form 2875/ System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) processing, and status verification for PUs. Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, and directives to ensure user account compliance in support of training, exercises, and operations.
Provide Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) support, including status checks, certification compliance checks, and account verification. - Monitor the organization Information Assurance mailbox and process support requests.
- Provide account/information assurance support to walk-up clients.
- Provide input to process improvement initiatives related to the User Accounts Management function.
- Facilitate processing of SIPR tokens/accounts.
- Track and report the support provided, and by type of service, on a weekly basis.
- Bachelor of Science and 10-12 years of experience or Master of Science and 8-10 years of experience or PhD and 5-7 years of experience. Will consider: High School Degree and 16 year of experience
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, and enforcing security requirements.
- Expertise preparing Security Test and Evaluation plans.
- Experience in providing certification and accreditation support.
- Experience developing security plans and contingency plans.
- Familiar with developing, testing, and integrating security tools as well as configuring and installing the tools.
- Skilled in conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identified risks.
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments.
- Requires DoD 8570 IAM level II. This certification must be provided prior to starting in position and maintained in ATCTS.
- Requires active TS/SCI clearance
