Bishop & Company is seeking a Banking Consultant for a financial institution in Lahaina, Maui. As a key representative of the Lahaina Branch, you will deliver outstanding customer service, accurately process financial transactions, and build a solid understanding of the bank’s products and services. This role provides the opportunity to support a wide range of clients—from individuals opening their first checking account to experienced customers managing more complex financial needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent relevant work experience; or
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of experience in a sales and service environment.
- At least two years of cash-handling experience required.
- Minimum of two years of customer service, referral, and sales experience required.
- Retail or branch banking experience in operations and sales, or comparable experience within the financial services industry, preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking and financial products, with the ability to grasp finance and credit concepts, preferred.
- Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor when engaging with customers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital banking tools and technology to support daily transactions and customer needs.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Positive attitude with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Temporary-Hire Opportunity
- Pay: $21.50/hr
- Work Schedule- Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Rotational Saturday's 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary
