Job Description
As Controller you will assist with the development of internal controls policies, procedures, and financial planning. Will plan and direct accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and payroll. Will manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data to ensure accurate accounting of consolidated business needs, regulatory reporting including tax planning and compliance, for a rapidly growing workforce and expanding organization.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing budget processes, able to assess current accounting operations and internal control systems, and to offer recommendations for improvement while implementing improved processes and procedures. Has the “know how” to analyze the data to present and advise on strategic business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business Administration required
- Experience working with Benefits Administration systems
- Ability to work with executive leadership in a fast-paced and innovative environment
- 10 or more years of related experience
- CPA or CMA designation a plus
- Excellence in management and supervisory skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellence in presentation skills
- Excellence in organization and time management
- Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software
