Bishop & Company is seeking a Client Service Associate for a small family run financial services firm in the Honolulu area. In this position you will support the Financial Advisors and staff.
Job Responsibilities
The Client Service Associate will assist the Financial Advisors and Office Manager with the following:
- Client Service & Client Communication: Support incoming and outgoing client phone calls related to service requests; communicate clearly and professionally with clients and prospects.
- Data Entry & Research: Enter and maintain information across multiple internal systems; contact outside companies as needed to gather information and fulfill client requests.
- Client Meeting Preparation: Prepare meeting materials in advance of client appointments; understand required forms for each transaction and complete documentation with strong attention to detail.
- Account & Form Processing: Review paperwork for accuracy, submit documents to appropriate institutions, track incoming funds, and resolve post?processing issues.
- Seminars & Client Events: Availability to assist with occasional evening or weekend client events (infrequent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar support role.
- At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry or a related field.
- Strong client?service mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to building a career in financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.
- Life and Health Insurance license.
- Familiarity with the LPL Financial ClientWorks system.
