Job Description
Are you a talented Business Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of Honolulu? Bishop & Company is currently recruiting for a temporary Business Analyst opportunity with our client in the technical field. This W2 contract position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing you to work both remotely and in our client's downtown office.
Candidates must reside on Oahu by time of hire. No relocation assistance provided.
Business Analyst
This position requires in-office work at least twice a week. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in business analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Internal Support, and Executives.
- Engage with external clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Lead documenting functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Work within an established department budget and assist department managers with variance analyses.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or a relevant field.
- Extensive business requirements documentation experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suites and strong computer skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed.
Other Skills:
- Knowledge of Business Analyst practices and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and industry professionals.
- Demonstrates creativity, problem-solving skills, and results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with PowerPlatform highly preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a contract position with standard business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Compensation: $45-$50/hr
Duration: Minimum of 3 months with potential for extension based on performance.
