Responsibilities:
- Utilize your exceptional bookkeeping skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Work with a balance sheet of approximately $2 million in assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Track grants, endowments, and contracts, ensuring timely reporting and compliance with funding requirements.
- Effectively utilize QuickBooks to manage financial transactions, invoices, and reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Utilize your expertise to provide financial insights and recommendations to aid in decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of payroll and related tasks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong focus on accurate financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
- Knowledge of non-profit financial management and reporting is preferred, but not required.
- An accounting degree or CPA designation is not mandatory for this role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial data management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple financial tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in financial practices.
