Bookkeeper
Bishop & Company is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a law firm in the Honolulu area. The ideal candidate will have experience with law firm accounting practices.
Responsibilities
- Payroll and benefits administration
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable and billing (basic knowledge required)
- Preparation of management reports
- Month-end and year-end reporting
- Preparation of financials through tax preparation
- Annual budgeting and tax analysis
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently; strong analytical and organizational skills
- Familiarity with law firm financial and accounting practices
- Ability to produce internal and external financial reports
- Strong computer skills, including experience with law firm billing software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks (law firm or law corporation experience preferred)
- Experience with pension and 401(k) plan administration preferred
- Trustworthy and dependable, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
