Bishop & Company is seeking a Banking Consultant to join a financial institution’s Kihei Branch team. In this role, you will deliver an exceptional in-branch customer experience by proactively engaging with clients to identify their needs, demonstrating digital banking solutions, supporting day-to-day transactions, and advising customers on a full range of financial products and services to help meet their financial goals.
Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience; or
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in a sales and service environment
  • 2 years of cash-handling experience required
  • 2 years of experience in customer service, referrals, and sales required
  • Retail or branch banking experience in operations and sales, or similar experience within the financial services industry, preferred
  • Strong understanding of banking and financial products, with the ability to grasp finance and credit concepts, preferred
  • Ability to project a friendly and professional presence when interacting with customers
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Digitally savvy and confident using digital banking technology to support daily customer needs
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Positive, growth-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Additional Information:
  • Job Type: Temporary-Hire Opportunity 
  • Pay: $21.50/hr
  • Work Schedule- Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM; hours may vary 
  • Location: Kihei & Kahana locations -Hawaii
