Job Description

Bishop & Company is seeking an Administrative Associate for an insurance company in Honolulu. 
Location: Honolulu, HI (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour- $18.00/hour DOE 

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (½?hour unpaid lunch)
  • Schedule may vary
Assignment Duration
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing until position is filled
Work Environment
  • Attire: Casual / Business Casual
  • Parking: Not provided; public parking available at Blaisdell Center ($8/day)

Position Overview
The Administrative Associate provides clerical and operational support to multiple departments, assisting with submissions, renewals, policy documentation, and administrative processing in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support for Submissions, Renewals, and Agent of Record (AOR) processing
  • Review submissions for clearance and update Salesforce
  • Review and process AOR requests in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support Premium Audits, including printing, assembly, system updates, and distribution
  • Review renewal instructions and distribute accordingly
  • Prepare, type, print, and update policy documents as requested by Underwriters, Commercial Operations, or Agencies
  • Scan and file hard?copy documents electronically
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Minimum 35 WPM typing speed
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail?oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Team?oriented with a positive attitude
  • Ability to collaborate across departments

Experience Requirements
Associate II:
  • Minimum 1 year of general office experience

Associate III:
  • 2+ years of general office experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience

Additional Information
  • Occasional overtime may be required
