Bishop & Co. is seeking qualified Administrative Assistant candidates for its client based in Honolulu

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – #17139

Qualified candidates will be performing a variety of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks, independently with little or no supervision, while being proactive, resourceful & efficient, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.  

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
  • Develop a general understanding of the business
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Schedule appointments and meetings
  • Arrange travel, administer expenses
  • Maintain an orderly office filing system. File, fax, photocopy and distribute mail as required
  • Anticipate needs of leadership and take appropriate action
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by management

Minimum Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant:
  • 2+ years of clerical and/or office work experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a customer service role
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel applications
  • Ability to interact and communicate successfully with all levels of customers/guests, managers, and executives
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, in a fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills and confidentiality in the handling of incoming telephone calls and correspondence
  • Ability to take and transcribe minutes
  • Flexible work schedule. Must be able to travel as required for business needs
  • High school Diploma/ GED
  • 3+ years of Sales/Marketing experience in timeshare a plus but not required
  • Proven ability to resolve customer service related issues in a timely manner helpful, not required
