We are seeking a collaborative, customer-focused, and results-driven Banking Consultant to join our Lihue Branch team. In this role, you will deliver an exceptional in-branch customer experience by proactively engaging with clients to understand their needs, promoting digital banking solutions, completing daily transactions, and providing guidance on a full range of financial products and services tailored to each customer’s goals.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience; or
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in a sales and service environment
- At least two years of cash-handling experience
- Minimum of two years of customer service, referrals, and sales experience
- Retail or branch banking experience in operations and sales, or related financial services experience, preferred
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial products and the ability to understand credit and financial concepts, preferred
- Professional, welcoming presence when interacting with customers
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Digitally proficient and comfortable using digital banking technology for day-to-day customer needs
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and organizational skills
- Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Positive attitude, growth mindset, and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Direct-Hire Opportunity
- Pay: $21.50-$25.50/hr DOE
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Rotational Saturday (hours may vary)
