Job Description
Bishop & Company is seeking an Accounts Payables Specialist for a financial organization in Honolulu.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all phases of the accounts payables section of the bank.
- Responsible for the training of others in the accounts payable function.
- Preparing various reports as assigned on a scheduled or intermittent basis, and assisting other department and branch personnel with accounting entries.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience, at least 3-4 years of experience in Accounting (preferably in accounts payables)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; including bank staff, management, customers, and vendors.
- Excellent PC skills; working knowledge of all common Office applications (i.e. Word & Excel) and internet applications,
- Team player, with strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks,
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines.

- Pay: $22-$31/hr DOE
