Job Description
Bishop & Company is seeking an Accounting Support Specialist for an association management company in Honolulu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Review, analyze, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support daily accounting functions and routine department tasks.
- Respond promptly and professionally to questions or concerns from clients, vendors, and lenders.
- Conduct research, gather data, and verify information to assist with accounting processes.
- Partner with accounting staff and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Uphold confidentiality while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail in all work.
- College degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Trustworthy, thorough, and courteous, with a commitment to reliability and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Job Type: Temporary-to-hire opportunity
- Pay: $19-25/hr DOE
- Location: Honolulu, 96813
- Parking: No parking available, but we provide up to $70 toward a monthly bus pass.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
