Job Description
Bishop & Company is seeking a Part-time Billing Support Coordinator for a reputable airline organization in Honolulu, HI. Ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience, strong proficiency in MS Office Suite with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Looking for an immediate start!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing proactive billing support of three cost centers (Catering, Product Development and IFE) which duties include (but are not limited to):
o Working with HA AP/payment house to process a high volume of detailed invoices to ensure consistently timely payment, billing coding and correct allocation of expenses.
o Working with managers to ensure POs are compliant with approved budgets and within PO parameters.
o Continuously maintaining updated PO trackers for all vendors
o Overseeing and proactively advising business owners of PO fund levels.
o Work with department managers to resolve invoice discrepancies. - Other duties as required
- College degree or equivalent years of analytical experience
- Demonstrated accounts payable skills
- Proficient in MS applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Investigative skills a must, a strong problem solver
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); must be able to effectively communicate with internal departments and external customers/business partners
- Must be able to work independently and cross-functionally work with internal and external partners
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Ability to learn and use new systems and software
- Preferred one year of professional work experience, preferably in accounts payable
- Position Type: Temporary opportunity though September 2024
