We are seeking a Tax Analyst -Hawaii to support the Finance team with tax filings and data-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with Hawaii Department of Taxation filings, particularly condo owner tax filings. Strong Excel skills are required, including proficiency in pivot tables, V-lookup, and handling large data sets. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Hawaii Department of Taxation filings (experience with condo owner taxes a plus).
  • Manage, review, and consolidate large spreadsheets and datasets.
  • Perform advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, V-lookup, formulas, data analysis).
  • Support the Finance team in catching up on backlog of work.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all reporting and data consolidation.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance and assist with other clerical/finance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with Hawaii tax filings preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, V-lookup, formulas, data consolidation).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Finance, accounting, or tax background highly preferred.

Additional Information:
  • Job Type: Temporary Opportunity, 30–90 days (temporary assignment, ASAP start)
  • Pay: $25-$35/hr
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility)
  • Location: Honolulu (parking included)
