Bishop & Company is seeking an experienced Recruiter for a health care organization in Aiea, HI.

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Ideal candidate includes:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least one year of experience in HR
  • Preferably someone with at least one year of experience in corporate recruiting (including sourcing, screening for minimum qualifications, and conducting formal interviews.)
  • Be able to follow our processes to remain compliant
  • Be able to keep accurate notes and understands EEO
Position Details:
  • Performs full life-cycle talent acquisition and recruitment functions for the organization.
  • Develops and implements talent acquisition plans based on specific positions.  Ensures the efficiency and cost effectiveness of plans using a variety of media/sources including, but not limited to, job fairs, web postings, social media, professional networks, cold calling, print media, etc.
  • Develops and sustains ongoing pipelines for talent for high demand positions throughout the organization.
  • Represents the company at job fairs and other Talent Acquisition activities.
  • Partners with department managers on current and future Talent Acquisition needs/plans.
  • Coordinates communication of job vacancies internally and externally.
  • Updates and maintains job postings on internal and external websites.
  • Position starting full-time on-site; will assess after a few months if hybrid is an option
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. (Associates degree plus two (2) years of Human Resources work experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree. High school diploma plus four (4) years of Human Resources work experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree).
    • At least three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, with one (1) year recent experience in recruitment.
    • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Demonstrated knowledge in employment law and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in Human Resources Management.
    • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) experience with PeopleSoft.
    • Healthcare experience.

Skills:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Intermediate personal computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and routine database activity.(Ex: emailing, creating letters, formatting data, using tables, inserting objects.)
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment such as copiers, facsimile machines, etc.
  • Ability to set priorities, assess/problem solve and make independent decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lead, facilitate a group process and coordinate programs and activities.
  • Ability to project a positive & professional image on behalf of the organization.

Additional Information:
  • Location: Halawa
  • Status: Temporary Full-Time, temp-to-perm (Start ASAP)
  • Length of Assignment: approximately 6 months
  • Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Rate: $30/hr. negotiable based on experience 
  • Parking: available on street
