Sr. Administrative Assistant
Bishop & Company is seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant for an established educational facility in Downtown Honolulu. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of administrative experience and a strong familiarity with multiple software to include, Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheets, Concur, PeopleSoft. Looking for an immediate start!
Responsibilities:
Provides confidential and administrative support to division leaders including but not limited to calendaring, preparing, reviewing, and executing all purchase requisitions, and contracts, processing and tracking invoices for payment, and other procurement-related documents. Responsible for office supply ordering, expense reconciliations, and filing and retrieving documents from files, maintaining IT equipment. Handles confidential and sensitive correspondence, project documents and sensitive internal documents (e.g., RFAs). Assists division with various administrative tasks as needed and must be good with computers and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have at least an associate’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative or directly related work experience.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and self-initiative skills to coordinate multiple assignments, tasks and demanding deadlines.
- Working knowledge of microcomputers to include database, flowcharting, word processing and spreadsheet software applications to handle a wide variety of documents and tracking requirements.
- Ability to perform assigned work projects in a professional, confidential and competent manner.
Ability to manage workload to achieve project goals and objectives to include managing multiple assignments. - Ability to problem solve and recommend short- and long-term solutions.
Ability to work independently with varied responsibilities and multiple priorities. - Cooperates in joint efforts with leadership and staff in which group unity and efficiency are paramount to individual interests.
- Strong computer skills and must be a quick learner. Prior PeopleSoft, Concur and Workday experience preferred.
- Frequently will work with Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheets, Concur, PeopleSoft.
- Must be a quick learner.

- Job Type: 6-month Temporary opportunity with potential for extension
- Pay: $28.06/hr
- Hours: 7:30am-4:14pm
