- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of month-end and year-end reporting.
- Prepare and coordinate forecasts, budgets, and reforecasts for ownership and company stakeholders.
- Review and submit financial reports according to established calendars.
- Provide guidance and supervision to accounting staff, including training and development.
- Maintain accurate general ledger journals, reconciliations, and treasury reports.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and implement audit recommendations.
- Safeguard internal controls and uphold company policies across hotel operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, ideally in hospitality or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a cyclical industry environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $115,000 to $130,000 bonus eligible -commensurate with experience, budget approved.
